The Orb Vase

The Orb Vase is full-bellied and grounded, with a wide, rounded body perched on a pedestal foot with a shaped rim. Thrown in stoneware and finished with a rich, layered glaze that pools and drips toward the base which has been left raw to show off the textured clay beneath.

These Vases are at home holding a trim-stemmed gathered bunch of flowers, the Orb Vase is built to be a quiet centerpiece; handmade, one at a time, by Donovan Pottery for the Mathom House Collection.
